  • The AACA's IA Renewal course during the 2023 convention.
  • We will send a virtual seminar invite out via email a few days prior to the event.

The 2023 AACA Annual Convention offers in-person and virtual IA Renewal.

IA Renewal Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM: Safety Management Systems (SMS) with Mike Schwartz of the FAA

  • 10:30 AM: Dynamic Regulatory System (DRS) with Pete Devaris of the FAA

  • 11:30 AM: Propeller Maintenance with Dominion Propeller

  • 12:30 PM: Cessna Caravan and Sky Courier Maintenance with Austin Deam of Cessna/Textron

  • 1:30 PM: Lunch break

  • 2:30 PM: Fabric maintenance with Steve Williams of ACME Cub Training

  • 3:30 PM: PT6A Maintenance with Tom Welch of Covington Aircraft

  • 4:30 PM: Continued operational safety issues pertaining to Alaska aviation with Dr. Dave Swartz of the FAA

  • 5:30 PM: External loads with Anthony Bockelman of the FAA
